First Judicial Practice Forum for Serving the ‘Twin Stars’ Region Held

The inaugural Judicial Practice Forum focused on serving and supporting the construction of modern regional central cities in the ‘Twin Stars’ area was successfully convened in Jarud Banner, Tongliao City. This significant event, hosted by the Tongliao Intermediate People’s Court, carried the theme ‘Strengthening Regional Judicial Collaboration·Creating a Better Legal Future’.

The forum served as an important platform for deepening the integration of legal theory with judicial practice, particularly in areas such as optimizing a legalized business environment and enhancing the management of litigation sources. It showcased the practical research achievements of courts from both Chifeng and Tongliao, establishing a new channel for exchange and cooperation between the two regions.

A Foundation of Collaboration

This forum builds upon the Judicial Cooperation Framework Agreement signed between Chifeng and Tongliao courts in December of last year. Guided by the Higher People’s Court of the Autonomous Region, this agreement initiated pragmatic cooperation across 13 judicial domains. These include supporting the construction of a law-based government, cross-regional case filing, adjudication enforcement, and academic exchanges.

The collaboration, emphasized by resource sharing, practical cooperation, and complementary advantages, has already yielded substantial results. It has significantly improved the quality and efficiency of trial and enforcement work in both regions, contributing positively to the high-quality development of the court system in Inner Mongolia.

Learning and Strengthening Ties

During the forum, participants engaged in a field visit to the Ulji Muren Tribunal of the Jarud Banner People’s Court, which has been recognized as a ‘National Advanced Collective of Courts.’ This provided valuable insights into effective judicial practices at the grassroots level.

Furthermore, the event saw the signing of a friendly court agreement between the Jarud Banner People’s Court and the Ongniud Banner People’s Court, symbolizing a commitment to continued mutual learning and support, thereby strengthening the judicial network within the ‘Twin Stars’ region.
